Elfin Forest, California Recreational Reserve Hike

This Elfin Forest hike gives beautiful views! It’s an uphill hike, although fairly gradual. I rated it intermediate because it is uphill but also because the train is very rocky and extremely uneven in areas. You have to watch your footing but it’s not too strenuous. I love going later in the day about 90min before sunset so it is a bit cooler and it’s beautiful watching the sun as it’s setting.
