Every Thursday night, Oceanside hosts their Sunset Market downtown. It has over 200+ vendors with the majority being food stands and live music playing throughout the night. It’s opened year around, every week from 5 to 9. It’s one of our favorite things to do in Oceanside!
Families, dogs, strollers, and more are welcomed at the market. It can get pretty busy, so one does have to be mindful where they’re going or standing, especially with littles. There aren’t any designated areas to sit, you also may have to get creative with eating while standing.
Sharing some of my favorite food booths we like to stop at every time we go. Some of these spots too you’ll find at the other Farmer’s Market’s around San Diego county!

-Fatboyz Pizza - where you’ll find the largest slice of pizza ever.
As for parking, it can be quite challenging to park close by. Most people park in the public lots or do street parking a couple blocks over by the city buildings and walk over. One can always Uber or Lyft if you live nearby.
