The Jud Wiebe Trail is a 3-mile loop that climbs directly from downtown Telluride above the box canyon, offering some of the best panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valley floor. The trail is accessed from Aspen Street and delivers significant elevation gain in a relatively short distance, making it a rewarding outing for hikers of moderate fitness. Plan for 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the loop depending on your pace.
